Does anyone know if you can get a mechanical/capillary temperature gauge converted to electrical and still maintain the original clock face ? _________________ Owner of a 1953 Sunbeam Alpine |

Hi thanks, I called them earlier as someone told they did use to do the conversions but when I called they said they didn't. Perhaps they've stopped doing them now. But they can repair the old capillary if needed. _________________ Owner of a 1953 Sunbeam Alpine |

Nah JDO don't do it either, spoke to him this morning.
Looks like I'll have to get it repaired and stick with the mechanical gauge and a new capillary tube, about £45 +vat _________________ Owner of a 1953 Sunbeam Alpine |
