Hi All,
I've introduced myself in the introductions thread, now to show you the fleet:
First off is my car, a 1971 MGB GT
I'm building a V8 using a new bodyshell as, regardless of the photo above, my one is getting pretty crusty. This is how the project shell looks at the moment:
The other classic my dad and I have is a 1963 Hillman Imp MK1. Its one of the first 2500 built and had ONE owner from new. His son neglected it a bit and wanted to trade it in on the scrappage scheme for a fiat 500 but we paid a little more than we wanted to save it. It was originally Balmoral Grey and so we will be restoring it to original spec.
How it looks now
Finally. This is my dads Ford Anglia 105e. He's had it since 1973, my brother was nearly born in it and we estimate its done nearly 170,000 miles! Its terribly sentimental to my father which is why he hasn't used it much but i've persuaded him on restoring as soon as the Imp is done (Unless anyone can help sooner of course!)

Some great pics,I like that Hillman Imp,I had a one owner one a few years back but my wife never liked driving it so it went to a new home.(So did the wife a couple of months later).
I wonder how many restorable classics have now been lost forever because of the stupid and badly thought out scrappage scheme.I did here of a one owner 11,000 mile from new 1100 being rescued but I'd guess a few weren't. _________________ My running resto,a p5b Rover

First reg 01/07/37 and I believe that the OW on the plate means that I've bought it back home to southampton
I got it 3 mths ago ... its running and on the road with only a few little niggles so far... although I'm waiting to take it to someone who "really knows the small fords" to get an opinion on things like how good the running gear sounds etc. ( I'm a mechanical lightweight at the moment ).
Its reasonably original although there appears to be a lot more switches on the dash than I've seen in period manuals etc
Anyone near Southampton ( or anywhere else hehe ) who knows about these please get in touch as all help / info greatly appreciated.
