Hi Buzzy, the museums web address is www.svedinos.se Its not very good, but does at least list their exhibits.

If you want to have a look at a couple of events over here, try www.classiccarweek.com For the photos, dont bother trying to go onto the english version, because it doesn't always work. Click on "arkivet" (archives, easy huh?) then "bilder"

If they ever get it working again, try also www.wheelsnwings.se Its so long since I managed to get on that site, I've forgotten how!

Have you checked your PM's?

Very Happy

To update this, dad arranged to move the cockpit again and it's now on loan to the air museum at Caernarfon in North Wales. I've yet to visit since the move, but when I do I'll update with some recent photos.

I seem to remember, not so many years ago, that some air museum had an airworthy Gannet. Though it was hardly ever flown because it cost £900 just to start it up!

There was a "Monster Moves" programme on C5 last year, where an airworthy Gannet in the States was re-located from one airfield to another. I'm not sure if there are any airworthy over here though?

Rick there is one at Dumfries Aviation Museum. Far from airworthy though.

Rick,

If you click on www.svedinos.se and then click on flygmuseum and scroll down to the last photograph and you will see the Canberra in the background minus the door!
