First up is this nice old tyre pressure gauge, sold by India and advertising their 'Super Nonskid Tyres'. This one is quite unusual because of its size and shape, designed to be used on lorries fitted with twin rear wheels. Using a standard gauge would be difficult as it may not reach the valve on the inner tyre/wheel, whereas this one has the length to get in there. The head of the guage can be adjusted to one of three angled positions.
What olde worlde motoring tools do you have?

Hi
How big is that guage?
I have a few tools and am still trying to get my hands on the yard long vernier caliper!
The best buy tool wise so far has to be a wood working one believe it or not! A stanley 51 and 52 shooting board! I am not going to tell you all how much I paid for it, but it was a good buy as they are extremely rare!
Ricks old compressor has just been brought back to life!
I am still looking for a "safe craking" ratchet drill, I missed one on ebay the other day, really annoyed!
Cheers
Dave

Picked up a few bits yesterday, a nice old AEC lorry spanner (quite small), an unusual looking Auto-Lite spark plug gap tester (looks like a miniature ship's wheel) from the bottom of a grubby box, and one of those blackout things you would fit to a car's headlamp in WW2.
Also some paperwork from the 80s relating to a 30s Morris, including the tattered remains of a Morris in-house magazine from 1938. Condition isn't good but will be an interesting read nonetheless.
