Hi

Now I like that!! I nearly got my hands on a small Ransommes crawler last year!

This will worry you all! I haven't told my parents so keep it quiet!! Wink

I was talking to a guy with simmilar interests to me over the weekend, he likes steam stuff and believes it is the way forward, I knew I wasn't alone!! We got talking about converting a diesel truck to a steam wagon, like a sentinel wagon etc. Recon for about £4000 it could be done! I rekon I need to start reseaching, then that will be a future project!

He he

Cheers

What about the front/rear weight distribution?

Looks as if it would fall on its nose unless the driver is a heavyweight!

Hi

Quite a few crawlers are like that, not quite sure why! Perhaps the answer is to have a wacking big plough or subsoiler on the back to pull the back into the ground!

Cheers

Hi

Hmmm, Are you tring to get me kicked out of home!! I wouldn't mind a trailer, but not really for a mini! My mini has a centre exit exhaust, so couldn't have a tow bar anyway!

Don't think I can have it! I get in enough trouble on my own, now everyone else is looking for things for me to buy, sorry invest in!! hehe Very Happy

Cheers

well it has been done to a very good standard me thinks!!
I should have made one, had a couple of opportunities when I dismantled my ex clubman estate and another mini(mk4) for parts.
Should have kept the rear end!!! Smile

Hi

Yeah I agree it is a good conversion, and it certainly looks tidy! I like the way that everything folds up!

Cheers
