This was 2010. I was working last year so couldn't make it, hopefully I'll make it this year.
Are you going and do you know when the date is?

I was probably stood leaning against the same bit of barrier when that photo was taken (I remember seeing your truck). I'm not sure of the date for this year's Run - although I think it coincides with Drive It Day.
A few of us usually congregate at the old-car garage opposite the Raven and watch the Run go by, I'll be there with something or other.

Come along for the ride if you like, there's plenty of room on top of the transmission tunnel if my mate Clive wants to come too!

Thanks for the offer, if it's running properly I'd like to get my truck over to the garage and watch the run go by. I gave it a whirl last year but there were still many gremlins in the works, so I aborted the drive over and went over in the '34 Morris car instead.

Yes, turbo now sorted, after much effort involving visitations to scrap yards I failed to find one that I considered fit to try. Marine Turbos in Birkenhead couldn't repair the old one so I ended up fitting a re-con unit which was pretty expensive. But that's been the only major expenditure on the thing so I consider myself 'ahead of the game!'
Rick, what's the score with that old car garage near the cafes. I've been past it dozens of times over the years and seen some very odd looking stuff there. I've always wanted to call by and have a look, but it looks like the kind of place were the owner will chase you away with his 12 bore

He doesn't bite usually, if you're on the same wavelength re old vehicles, and don't go walking around in his garage with a lit cigarette, you'll be fine
