You've volunteered for the race and training now! I had her out this pm actually, still sorting the wonky pedal!
Yeah simmilar to a horse, garenteed to fall on your head first, but you must remember to not put your hands out to break the fall, you must remember to catch the bicycle...
Of course you could allways do the trick of feet over the handlebars, so you land on your feet first, but having done this only once, and going round corners and allsorts hoping there is no traffic, with absolouteley no way to stop, untill you reach the bottom, it is not my idea of fun; here is an example:-

His tyre came off with centrifugal foce, can just see it going off to the right and hear the rim on the road like a roller sounds, before it tangles up in the bike and throws him off. I don't think we will go like that mind, you will have to meet me in nantwich on an evening in the summer, I know the perfect carpark I use to practice on...
Flat cap required at all times.... Stops the scratches.....
