posted about this local van sometime ago,and photo's somewhere Confused Rick, you said the club know about it? anyway, the land owner passed away, and now the yard it resides in is derelict, graffiti and fires everywhere Crying or Very sad question is,do i rescue the few remaining parts on it? or do i risk being prosecuted.it's in a field, can't find out who owns/rents it,and no one ever there...apart from vandals.

If you contact Harvey via the Morris J Register site, he'll be able to update you as he knows/knew the owner of the J (not necessarily the owner of the land..).

Having seen some of the disasters of j type vans that are being restored these days, I'd say anything is worth saving. even a very incomplte chassis with cab front has just been saved and is now being rebodied as an icecream van...

That's sad, very very sad!
If you can save some parts from the J van, save it!
I adore them, I want to have one in my collection some day!
Kind Regards,
Jonathan
