Please could someone identify the make, model and approximate year of the car in the photo?
I am involved with archiving old photographs so any information would be most useful.. thanks

I can't identify it unfortunately. Radiator is very Rolls Royce but bonnet does not look long enough for one. Radiator is also very Ford T shaped but it certainly is not a T.
One possibility that comes to mind is a Sizaire-Berwick, but I can't find any photos of one of the same approx. period to help with identification.
Is it possible to get a clearer scan of the image? _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

| The car certainly dates from around 1908-1912; I am almost inclined to think it's an Austin 10 from around 1912, but I could be wrong... |

there are no fender(mudguard) aprons on the Wolseley pictured, although what APPEAR to be aprons in the old pic may be something else.... it appears to be very similar in design however.... a year or two either way?
the dapper chap leaning against the mudguard makes the car in the pic seem very large, as the guard would seem to be even with his hip or waist if he were standing straight. although, the more i look at the pic, the younger the people in it seem... perhaps this was taken at a school? _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |

Thanks for the suggestions.
I hope to get a better scan in the next few days, which may help. For your information the car is parked outside a hotel in a small South Wales village. |
