Jonathan,
The problem is getting 'Imperial' dimensioned steel. Most spring shops now are Metric. I found a place in the interweb in the Midlands the still uses Imperial steel. I'll see if I can trackit down. As I recall it was a family business. Are you removeing them youself? Do you have the tool to unload the springs?

Hallo,
Thanks for the quick replay.
It's not my car, it's from my friend, but he does'nt use Internet..
He brought the springs to a company (here in belgium) for restoration ..
But they have done badly .. he is very bouncy .. and sometimes they are folded in the opposite direction
Kind regards,

It's a really dicey business fitting new springs. I know someone with a MkIV 3.5litre who ended up with what felt like a car with no springs at all. Really rough over bumps.
If you are doing this because of wear in the top leaf of the fronts where it mates with the half moons then perhaps just replace that single leaf.

Do you know a company where I can buy new springs for the Jaguar?
My mate let them rebuild and there are now very bouncy and sometimes they are folded in the opposite direction.. so that's not good..

Jonathan,
If they are 'really bouncy' then the shock absorbers cannot be working.

Hi Jonathan,
I agree with Art. Get the shocks sorted before you do anything else.
I got mine done about 18 years ago and they are still as good as new. Here's the restorer. (Long waiting list but worth the wait.)
I don't know where to advise for springs. They do sit quite flat.
