I suspect that the timing chain on my Austin Sixteen 1931 Burnham saloon has jumped a tooth or two. Has anybody any experience of correcting this? Will I need to take the engine out? Or remove the gear box? I have the Austin list of parts but it is not clear how it all goes together. I assume there are timing marks on the gears to get the timing correct again. Any advice gratefully received. The design of this engine is not conventional as the timing chain is at the rear of the engine next to the gearbox.

Thanks Arnold
