I'd like to find a straight front bumper to fit an A40 Devon pickup (may be the same as the saloon). Needn't have mint chrome, but must be good enough for re-chroming.

Would also like to find some 5.00x16 crossplies to fit on the saloon, replacing the oversize radials that are currently on it.

I'd also like to find a set of the aluminium rear wheel spats to suit the pickup, and perhaps a new or recon water pump (plus hoses)

Then I may be able to solve your problem!

I rang the 'spares man' yesterday and have arranged to have a ride up in a week or so as the amount of stuff I have asked for (and he had) has risen.

It's an 800 mile round trip unfortunately so I'm trying to time it for a post Easter break/stopover and taking Ms. Nail along.

I believe he has several waterpumps.

Ooo well as far as I know the Somerset pumps and Devon pumps are the same (will check on this tomorrow), if they are then I'll have at least one new pump if he has some going spare - thanks for the info

Has he still got the Devon steering wheel? I could really do with that too for the p/up if it isn't split/cracked, and bottom hoses if he has any

We can discuss it via email if you like, might be easier?

I no longer need the rear spats for a pickup, as I noticed the other day that mine are correct after all (aluminium). I could still do with the following Devon bits if anyone finds some on their travels:

front bumper(s)
steering wheel (no cracks or chips if poss)
engine hoses
some better hubcaps wouldn't harm either (needn't be mint)
