we recently bought a 1971 mini 850 that was last on the road in 2000,its got brown velour seats and I`m pretty sure they are incorrect for it,anyone know if they are the same frames as early seats?in case we decide to recover them?

If they are not reclining than they are similar, a 1971 mini 850 will have had plain vinyl seats depending mostly on the body colour!!
however if they are reclining without head rests the frame is very similar too and a bit comfier to be able to recline the back and not have to do with the awful uprightness of the non reclining ones!!
