Hi All,
My father and his cousin both owned Anglias in the late 50's, I thought members would like to see one of the original manuals.
I think I might have posted previously manuals of other cars that my father owned and also a Mk1 Escort RS2000 manual that I owned in the 70's.

Those old operating manuals are great
I have similar ones (that would have come with the car when new) for the Morris 8, it goes in to the detail of adjusting brakes and how to de-coke the engine ,and this is not the workshop manual remember!
Comparing to my modern operating manual where it tells you to go to the dealer to get a headlamp bulb changed

I remember my father fitting a new-fangled device to his Anglia windscreen (inside) a de-mister, it consisted of an electric eliment strung between two rubber suckers, the idea was that when it heated up the screen would de-mist.......it did'nt work, well it did to some extent, one inch around the eliment. |
