We are changing the colour of our car from Fern Green to... Silver.
The Cortina`s were painted in a colour called Silver Fox.
Does anyone know the paint code that the paint supplier will need.
Or is there a modern colour that looks the same.?
We do not want to get it all done and the first show we go to find out the shade is too dark or light.

We got a paint formula in the end from the paint helpline that Movac Ltd my local paint distributors use.
Most of the old paint and tints are lost now so they come up with a very close match,ok if you are carrying out a full respray like we are.

It is a nightmare trying to match old paintwork on a classic car i.e if you are repairing the front wings say and just want to paint those,it is noticed especially to the trained eye.

More photo`s to follow.
