Like it says really,I could do with a towbar for the Jaguar 420 (it's the same as the 63-67 S-Types ) if anyone knows where there is one for a moderate sum?

I last saw one on e-bay from a breaker but couldn't countenace the price (around £120 IIRC Shocked ) but am surmising they are no longer available new (due to type approval) so I will have to put up with it.

It's annoying when they used to be £20 or so secondhand, but I didn't have a requirement then! Sad

Thanks for that, they are not too far from me as well. In fact they fitted a bar to my X-type back in 2002 (£400 vs £900 from Jaguar Laughing ) that price does make a mockery of the £120 secondhand one Rolling Eyes

However, if a secondhand one IS sitting around unwanted somewhere, anyone.....

Well I see how deficient I have been with my posts so I'll start a thread for the 420.

FWIW I found a towbar from a very nice gentlemen in Norfolk at the cost of adjusting the inhibitor switch on his immaculate 420 Sovereign Cool

He even added a beer just to sweeten the deal!
