So guys this is my pride and Joy. Yes I have my 68 Morris Mini van and yes I have the 49 Mayflower which will take some time, but this is my testimony to patience, perserverance and lots of very hard but enjoyable work. Now you know where my name comes from. Because to close the hood (Bonnet) it takes "Two Dzus Fittings"
(I crack myself up). This car took seven years to restore from the ground up. I know every nut and bolt, every washer. Every peice of it.

Hi

Great resto job, do you have any pictures of it before the resto?

Cheers

I've not long finished a complete rebuild of my TR3A, in fact I've had to do another engine because the crank broke and then I found hairline cracks in the block. Here it is down on the River Severn at Arlingham.

Just a little! The body has almost completely been rebuilt as was the rear axle, the gearbox, the engine, some parts of the suspension, the brakes, some instruments, the loom was replaced and it has been completely re-trimmed.

If I'd known it was in such a state, I'd have bought a US import for less and rebuilt that.

The only blessing is that I love it, it's a lovely old Thing.

I should have known really because they were all rotten in the sixties.
