My garage is 20x20 feet, is block built with timber flat roof and insulated doors and well sealed so no draughts.
Tried the small propane heater but like the previous poster created two much moisture on cold surfaces.
In the cold weather I use a cheap small fan heater at my bench. If I am working away from the bench I move the heater!- or I tend to wear a thermal boiler suit- would recommend them to anyone who is daft enough to enjoy spending hours in a cold garage Very Happy
I use a dehumidifier for moisture control, although they tend to freeze up below 4oC

Due to a knock back on the MOT , I had to replace the king pins, on my Austin 7 Ruby. You only had 2 weeks to fix the problem. I had to fix it on Boxing Day on the front drive. Snow and sleet was coming down, I put a sheet of corrugated iron along side the car, to keep the worst off me. Those were the days !!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I'm fortunate enough to have my garage/workshop under the house, as the house is higher at the back (by that, I mean the ground falls away at the back of the house, so the garage doors are at ground level)
It is rather a nice temperature all year round, which is fantastic! Power, toilet, sink, tools and even a radiator! Bliss! Laughing

I had a nice 4 car (just) garage attached to my house. Then started a company with a friend for which we used the garage - which meant I only could park one car in the garage. We extended the garage to double the space and used it for the company for two years, also installing WC, sink, storage room, heating, car lift. Two months ago this space was not enough so we moved the company to a big garage - which also meant I had my garage back for my own use. And twice the size!
First thing I did was to paint half the floor. Now I am going to paint he other half, then finally bring back my loved ones. Plus others!
