Steering wheel..what paint?

I want to paint a SAAB steering wheel..it's made of an unknown hard plastic. What is the best paint to use for a tough long lasting finish?

I used gloss black "PlasiKote" in a aersol from B&Q with good effects, its claimed to be hard wearing but I guess only time will tell.

me too like dave have used the stuff on the hunter's steering wheel, its not had much use but its kept looking smart till now!!

I've painted mine, but have used a Black two pack acrylic on it, and it looks as good as new.
