Having not been around for a while I have a lot of catching up to do
I still have all my Frenchies now amounting to 26 cars my newest purchase is a nice Ami6 break

A very nice CX 1980 with only 71000klm on it from new

But I also could not resist this Mercedes 500SE

Good to see you back on here Greeney, looks like you've been busy Smile Is that a Michelin man - or snowman - on the roof of the yellow R4 in photo 1?

Victor101 with the Ami6; because the engine has been removed and perched in the back her tyres toe in which makes her look sadder!!
Laughing
yes indeed Rick, hi btw.It is a yellow Michelin van with a 1957 'bibendum' for the correct term and it lights up when you turn the lights on
saying that he looks a bit hunched up in the cold from the back
The R4 on the right is a 1979 TL and has only 38000klm on it (original) but its the smallest engine at 745cc
The R5 I bought for my son after he passed his test that has even now only 68000klm

An interesting list there Greeney. Are you on Autosh*te? Most of that lot would be very appreciated there.

I found this Renualt 10 not far from mine just before Christmas, it's sat there for a long time and with the way scrap prices are going I can't see it sitting there for much longer until it's nicked for the metal Confused

I drove past there the other day and the bonnet was ajar, maybe someone has been trying to start it.

Yes Rick I did post some photos on here a couple of years back it is still in the 'stripped stage' as it had a broken chassis rail which made it crab; As I paid good money for it (namely 13k) I thought it deserved a 'proper job'
I will get some more up for you, she is a beauty

The W126 I rescued from having sat on my 'wifes best friends driveway' for 7 years without moving. I paid 300£ for it and its only got 90k on the clock
I spent 2k on it renewing brakes and discs and pipework, a full service.
After a change of fluids and a battery it started on the key first time and has run smoothly ever since. I topped 140miles an hour on a trip to Germany in 2010
Its not worth anything so I am keeping it
Its crying out for Alloys though and a leather interior as it was specified without, I have the bill of sale from new £42grand in 1988
