Interesting but quite a few errors in the Riley section.

Certainly an interesting link. I have added it into my "Car Names Fav' List"

I just wish they had not chosen to display the Swastika Flag next to the VW's.... . It doesn't bother me in historical context or movies etc, but just don't like to see it used on "new" stuff.

Make any sense, or is it just me being rather intolerant ??

Many memories of early post-war traffic for me there. Though like Riley549 I think I have detected one or two errors.
An Austin 16 with OHV engine is shown as 1939. I don't believe that Austin produced an OHV engine pre-war. I always believed that the "16" engine (later also fitted to the A70s, Taxis and 3 way loader vans) was a war-time development for military use, but shelved when American vehicles became readily available when the tide of the "battle of the Atlantic" turned.
Am I wrong?

For Rick. There is also an Austin Ranelagh in the 1939 section like the one I sent you a picture of. Apparently only 90 BHP, but the one I drove felt very powerful at the time.
Jim.
