Just to say hello, i`m not a great one for clubs etc. but if i can help or share info i`m there. Been in transport all my life and i`ve owned or driven most things. Had a lot of british cars and bikes from the 50`s and 60`s, my first car was a 1948 Morris 8 series E, and i honed my driving skills driving Guy Arabs 5lw vacuum braked and 6lw airbraked. I have just bought a 1973 MGB GT V8, what a mouthful, drove it back from Yorkshire to Southampton and didn`t miss a beat. Bodywork doesn`t seem to bad but the interior is another matter. I also have a Royal Enfield Bullet posing as a cafe racer.
Stuck to the dash in the MG is a small black box with the inscription `Stirling fuel-lite` made in England and 3 wires going in to the dash. It doesn`t appear to do anything but i want to be sure before removing it but i can`t find any reference to it anywhere. |
