Strangely I was looking for a model of my screen name, low drag, the other day. Came across a 1:18 scale made in China. The rivets look like carbuncles!

It's a shame that Photobucket stuffed up some of the entries in this thread, but here's a plastic PV444 I've had for a while

If anyone has toy versions of their real old vehicle(s), let's see them Smile

My father had a 1949 Hillman minx in a sort of sage green and also had a Dinky toy version in the same colour attached to the dashboard, when he traded it in for a 1957 Hillman minx he also found a Dinky toy version of the same model and colour and attached that to the dash.

Affordable models of PV544 cars are thin on the ground and can be ludicrously expensive. The large scale Revell and Tecnomodel versions are appealing but not at between £85-£120. The Rob Eddie ones at 1/43 are also pricey at £100 plus.
I have a model of a Citroen Traction that is the right colour, but it is a Normale rather than a short wheelbase car, a model of which I have yet to find.

I have die cast models of both my cars, a Modena Green Mk1 Escort 2dr, and a Pearl Green with tan tonneau, ( the roof is folded), Mk1 Golf Clipper Cabriolet.

One of the toy companies saw the photo of my cousin's Sunbeam Alpine that I had posted elsewhere in the forum and asked if they could make a model of it. I did explain the it wasn't a factory colour but that didn't seem to matter.
