... and yes it's another Austin!

It's an Austin Ten Cambridge '37!
Engine, chassis en rear axle have been rebuild and it hase 4 brand new michelin tyres!
The body work is good and allready sprayed in primer!

The mechanics are nice and easy. It's in much the same shape as a 10/4 I took on in 1985... I'm still using it.

Restored it in 85 and used as second car for next 15+ years. Still use it occasionally. Here is pic of it rescuing a disabled Chummy from the Herne Bay Town Show last year.



Another of it being taken to a show attached to an 'A' bar behind my camper... back in the early 90s.

These are brilliant old cars, very simple and usable, with spares quite readily available. There are a number of specialists around who can sort you out with parts and the owners club is worth joining, as again, they have a very good spares operation.
This is mine, like yours a '37, taken the weekend before last.

The one I owned for a while had a really nice rear view mirrow, curved to match the shape of the rear windows. Was that a standard fitment?

Yes, mine has got one of those, almost a wide enough viewing angle to see if the trafficators are working! It could do with resilvering though.
