That cameraman had better Holden tight; a Mosquito flying that low would really give him the Willys.

I don't think that is a mosquito which had merlin's that look's like a beaufighter with radial's one can just see the air intake's on the top of the engine's, mossie's had them under the engine's.

That after the Mosquito is another of my favourites

A couple of the Mossy at Cranfield in the early 70's

299 with 474,
474 was thankfully rescued from Biggin Hill before to many 'souvenirs' went missing and is now one of the best known Lancasters.

Have you read ''Night Fighter'' featuring John Cunningham. He worked his way from Blenheim, Beaufighter and Mossie.

I always remember one story were his radar operator (using the new hydrogen sulphide radar) was guiding him towards a Jerry bomber on a dark night. It appeared that the target had started diving very rapidly and John had the Blenheim in a full power steep dive endeavouring to catch up on the enemy aircraft. Failing to catch up with the target they suddenly realised that they had been chasing its bomb load down to earth!
