Looks like you have a fair amount of work to do there! Wink

It's a 1962 countryman that should have a 948cc engine in it, but looks as if someone may have fitted a 1098cc unit from a Morris?

Do you know the original registration number?

Nice find, I saw someone listing a s/h rear hatch for a Countryman on ebay a day or so back, if you need one that is.

hello i got my eyes on the tailgate thankyou Razz and as far as i know its all original from 1 lady owner Smile but she died and by baby started rotting but thank god its all cosmetic

Plus it hasn't been got-at, ie you can see its faults, they're not hidden away behind a shiny paintjob and a ton of filler Smile

I had an early Mk2 like that 12 or so years ago, it had the 948cc engine and two-tone interior.

Yes; looks as if this one has been fitted with the later front seats at least.

Do the rears match; pattern-wise?
