In Crewe today, a 1940s/1950s American 1/2 ton pickup painted matt black.

The local MG 18/80 was also spotted, being exercised.

Passed a red Sierra Sapphire parked rusting away in a driveway last night, only just down the road from us in the next village.

Went out in our slk today, on the way back we stopped for lunch in the Britannia pub on the horseshoe pass.
A very long line of mx5’s proceeded past us.

Saw a very nice Ford Capri out in the sun this afternoon, it was a late motel, dark blue metallic.

We were out in deepest Worcestershire today for the first time this year and were rewarded by the sight of a maroon XK 140 FHC going down the main street, passing an 'oily rag' Series 1 SWB Land Rover which was parked at the side of the road and looked like someone's daily driver. I'm not sure if this counts but on the way home I passed a tidy-looking FSO Polonez Shocked Ithought that they were extinct but at least one has survived.

Welcome back to the fold Geoff.

A Model T speedster or similar went by yesterday, it could conceivably be the blue/aluminium T I saw the other weekend, albeit this one was maroon/aluminium finish - perhaps re-painted, I'll find out.

Passed a lovely Citroen Traction Avant this morning, Burgundy with Black wings. Then further on a orange MGB turned off ahead of me.

At our Retro Caravan club weekend (sorry, no pictures) aside from fifteen or so classic caravans, we had a 1961 Velox pa, a Citroen GS,1977 Rover 2200, 1982 Mercedes 308 motorhome, 1982 Sierra and my Series one Land Rover Discovery. Caravans ranged from a 1957 Eccles, towed by the Velox up to my 1979 Royale.
A cracking good weekend!

The other day I spotted a Datsun on a recovery truck, it was a 1970's four-door saloon, either a 120Y or a 140Y. I've not seen either for donkeys of years.
