I was surprised to see a blue AC 3000ME parked outside a local garage today.

A very enjoyable day out today visiting the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight and then West Kirby for some sea air Smile. Not much seen in 185 miles though, a Routemaster with Grand National on the destination blind Shocked turning off the A41 towards Wrexham (heading for the Mersey Tunnel ?), a very tidy red Fiat Coupe in Heswall and a Classic Saab 900 in the same blue as my last one was, near Whitchurch.

Saw a few interesting things today, including a Shadow 1, a souped-up 100E, a Series 2 Minor, a Series 1 Landy looking neglected outside someone's house, and a Vauxhall Viscount. The local Model T speedster was also spotted in action, and a good number of old tractors on trailers, presumably from a local ploughing match.

Yes I passed through earlier and most of the tractors did seem to be clustered around there, mainly towed by old Range Rovers Smile

Hi
Seen in Bromley Cross, Bolton, this evening a '56 VW Beetle. reg was '56 WWJ it had a single oval rear window; no bumpers so I couldn't use them diagnostically but it's semaphore indicators were still working.

Colour was a bit odd, a matt mid/green sort of camouflage colour..

We were out in deepest Worcestershire today for the first time this year and were rewarded by the sight of a maroon XK 140 FHC going down the main street, passing an 'oily rag' Series 1 SWB Land Rover which was parked at the side of the road and looked like someone's daily driver. I'm not sure if this counts but on the way home I passed a tidy-looking FSO Polonez Shocked Ithought that they were extinct but at least one has survived.

Was the Jaguar XK 140 in Tenbury Wells by any chance? I've seen one there a few times.

Welcome back Geoff I wondered where you were.

Went into town this morning, we passed a really nice mid 50's Wolseley. It was done up as a Police car and even had a light and bell.
