A Fiat 2300 1968 in rather nice original patinated condition - and no rust visible!

Plenty around this morning, perhaps on the way to or from the local breakfast meeting at Cholmondeley. A couple of 70s Porsche 911 on a local pub car park, with a more modern 911, a VW Beetle cabrio and a VW bus heading towards them. Later on, a metallic blue Farina (maybe a Morris Oxford) and a similarly-coloured 2-door American car that I can't identify.

Yes I saw a few around too, including a 1930's R-R and a couple of TR6s.

Lots of TVRs in the Eastern Valley here in Wales yesterday (Sun 20th). I was rushing to watch the rugby in the pub, but I think there were eight of them.

We saw a cluster of Bedford CAs outside a property down in Shropshire yesterday, including a couple of campers.

Out today in the PV, negotiating flooded roads nearby, we spotted a pair of Volvo 240 GLTs (one saloon, one estate), and a chap in a well-used 740 estate gave us a wave. A fruity Imp (or derivative) just drove by too.

Perhaps not really seen, rather on iplayer, and sorry, I don't know how to do links, but i watched a programme called "A city crowned with green".Two things intrigued me; at 16mins49 sec, what on earth is the car which comes in from the left, slows, then exits right?
Second is the Vanden Plas estate at 24,00 mins. Has anyone ever seen one? It's been bothering me for a week or more, but I know someone on here will know!

Cheers Penman. Just the job. Looks like it was a factory job. Any idea on the first one?

Hi
I have a feeling that that is a kit car and is possibly not usually seen with spare wheel(s) mounted on the boot.
It looks quite low and both the front and rear wings are distinctly curved over the tops

My son and I have been studying this car and the best we've come up with is a much-modified Allard. Listen to the engine note - it sounds like a V8 too.
Ref the Princess - can I have one please?

ME TOO! An estate version would be ideal for my business. If I had a good one I would probably keep it for life.... and that's saying something!
Cool
