Can anyone post a screen-shot of the car? I don't have an iplayer account and it won't let me view the video without one. |

Thanks Rick. Still don't know.
Part of me wondered if it was the mystery blue car from the long-running Pistonheads thread, but it's not. |

i turned up in my 20 year old vitara (it was too wet for my 1957 classic ford) to be asked at the first gate what it's age was, the chap said i may not get let in as it was not 25 years old, after telling him i was let in last year and that there was a 12 plate merc the year before last, he said well it may have been an interesting vehicle, i said maybe if you got loads of cash, he then waived me on, the other 2 marshals told me where to park, i then notices several jags at the same age as my vehicle and even a 2003 renault! so much for age limits, i may well give it a miss next time as it's getting smaller each year sadly. |

We didn't go, the last few have been pretty poor and I agree its getting smaller. I still think having 3 shows at the same venue each year is not the right way forward. One big show, the Classic Car Show in June should be the showcase and only event. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

We didnt see it bet we certainly heard it, the chap down in the next village had his Steam traction engine out for a jaunt. You could hear the clanking along the road and the occasional high pitch whistle. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi
Saw this today in Great Barr;
https://goo.gl/maps/Yha2BNAp4e7vm99M7
Then later there was a white MGB GT being jacked up (wheel change?) on the A5 between Brownhills and Cannock and then a drab beigie/green Series Landiw on a trailer on the M6 near Stoke. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this, I don't normally look unless it's staring me in the face.
I know the car, and keep running into a previous owner - the chap who did most of the original upgrade work (it has a Lotus 2.2 engine and five-speed box, as well as the extra-deep air dam). In a previous incarnation it had a full "Old Nail" big wing kit.
It's multi-coloured because it had an altercation with a truck and the repairs have been ongoing. |
