'The whole town of Watchet have really supported this event with taped-up windows, posters etc'
In my memory Watchet always looked like that... _________________ 1995 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible

We travelled down to Watched by Steam Train, the weather was good and lots of people about. Another thing we noticed was that all the tea rooms and cafe's closed at 4pm on the Saturday, by that time the place was heaving with re-enactors all looking for somewhere to eat and get a tea. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Our latest caravanning expedition to the South Coast began the day after the Goodwood Revival so the journey was a real pleasure, 'special' cars around every corner making their way home.
As well as every type of MG I can imagine, memorable spots included a white XK150 at Lasham and an Alvis TD21 at Midhurst.
On the return journey last Saturday I spotted a DB6 shooting brake South of Newbury and on the M4 East bound a Corniche convertible. Very surprised at the 'balooning' of the hood. Can that be right for such a fine car? |

This Rolls Royce Ghost was one of several RR cars at a MacMillan coffee morning locally. |

Spotted this yesterday, and I think it was on a pub car park later in the day too.

Is there a Riley event on in the South West this weekend? I have been passed by 4 prewar Rileys at different stages of my way home today. They were all heading south west down the A303. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
