The local, early 1930's, Austin 16 in wonderfully oily-rag and oooh-so-original condition was spotted in town earlier, a joy to behold. Incidentally, the owner also has an E83W that his dad bought new I believe, and a Bedford CA pickup, both non-runners and stashed away in outbuildings where they've sat for many a decade.

A two-door Mk1 Cortina in red (with a black stripe - GT?) seen twice today, plus a Model T speedster, which I think lives locally, also rumbled by twice at a decent rate of knots.

Near Birdlip about six Healey 3000s in Convoy, near Colwall a Speed 20 Alvis being driven hard and making a very good noise, near Upton On Severn an immaculate Sunbeam Talbot tourer and a few MGBs and other sports cars including MX5s by the ton. Lovely weather brought them all out.

We saw a very nice White Triumph Stag when we stopped for some lunch today, passed a few oldies on the way home including a nice split screen VW Camper.

Sat in the car outside school this pm, an old International tractor went by, as did an early 60s British motorcycle, possibly an Ariel (at the time I was reading a 1953 copy of Motor Cycle magazine, so it was appropriate).

Mk2 Mini Cooper went by today, white/black, must be local as I've seen it a few times now.

Not sure what it was, and it may have been visiting the local MOT station, but a classic-looking motorcycle combination passed here this morning - only it was on a modern plate, 6x so fairly recent. Modern bikes with classic looks aren't a new thing but not seen one with a sidecar before.

Yesterday there was also a very nice TR5 parked outside a local garage.

Passed a maroon XJS this morning on way to work, the interesting thing is that it had the gold outline of the Jaguar painted over the drivers door!?!

Red E-type in Pontypool this morning. Aren't they small by modern standards? And a very narrow track.

If I had an E, I'd be tempted to look into slightly wider wheel options I admit - maybe repro Dunlops, a la D-Type?
