Hi
Having seen the yellow E type roadster yesterday, there was a dark blue E type Coupe being driven in Northampton at lunchtime today. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

A delightfully original white Herald convertible in Frome this afternoon.
A few 'period-correct' accessories present & obviously a frequently used car.
Very nice. _________________ Mike - MVPeters at comcast.net

A synchronised wave to / from the driver of a Triumph Herald (might have been a Vitesse) on the way to lunch in the Peak District today. Plenty of cyclists and bikers but that was the only classic we saw on a beautiful day for a drive, other than the Good Friday traffic.
Bearing in mind the weekend I had rabbit casserole - bye-bye Easter bunny _________________ David

I didn't have to go far today. We went to the Good Friday service and hot cross bun and coffee at our local church, parking in the adjacent Morrisons car park. When we got back to the car, parked in the same row were a 1966 Wolseley 16/60 and a 1986 Ford Capri Laser, neither of which I had seen before. |

Lots of vintage tractors off down the village yesterday, Fordsons, Grey Fergies, a nice MF135. We presume it was a tractor run going from the local pub. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Today I drove to the Duke of Devonshire pub in Beeley, near Chatsworth, to meet a few on-line chums for tyre kicking and lunch. Had a nod from the driver of a red MGB roadster and for a mile or two I followed the green Triumph 2000 I saw in the same area a couple of weeks back then, and as I passed the entrance to Chatsworth, House a Kublewagen bedecked with wedding flowers went past in the other direction.
A pleasant day for a drive but very busy.
ETA - the beach buggy, I forgot the beach buggy! In candy apple red and LHD. I haven't seen one on the roads for decades so it was the 'spot of the day' really. Also, I was told the Wolseley 1500 I saw in Chesterfield a short while ago has been in the same family since new and never been restored. _________________ David

Aside from the classics parked at Oulton Park, I've seen a black Triumph Vitesse (or Herald, he was in a traffic queue so I couldn't see the front end) and got a wave from the driver. Yesterday I saw a Mk3 Capri in a light metallic green colour. |
