Simca 1300 GL from 1966.
Car originally registered in Mozambique.

It uses tyres 640x13 due to be originally from Mozambique (according to the original documents). All other Simca 1300 Gl uses tyres 590x13
The seats are original and in excelent condition , the doors panels are also in great shape, as new i can say. the roof needs to be done because it has 2 holes but the original fabric is easy to find and cheap to buy.
The Car was painted this year but it's not perfect as you can see on the pictures but can be used as is if you don't want to be on concurs. It has no rust.
The radiator was rebuilt.
It has a new exhaust
New clutch, bearing and clutch cover.
New sparks and new engine oil.
It has 2 radios, a modern one on the glove box and another original visible on the pictures
3 extra gauges in working condition (oil pressure, water temp, amperes)

Lots of spares, like a cylinder head, dinamo, regulator.

The engine smokes a bit, probably needs new rings but it starts first time and drives well.
Brakes in excelent condition, suspension and steering too.

Its a rare car to find in RHD, it as a portuguese IPO(equivalent to MOT in UK) untill november 2012.

Feel free to contact me for any question you might have. The car is in Portugal, Lisbon, Carnaxide.

Globally is a car in good condition that needs a bit work, great project for entusiastic person.

The car is on ebay but i can make a special price if selling outside ebay.

Sadly not, put it on Leboncoin in France, they love 'em, though the
steering wheel is on the wrong side for them that might
put them off!!

Good Luck

The trip to Lisbon sounds good, but I don't need another car Smile Simcas don't have a big following here.

I would suggest you put an advert on http://www.carandclassic.co.uk
Ads are free and if you put a couple of your very nice pictures on there you will get a good audience. I have heard from at least two advertisers who have had a good response. Someone on the forum here bought a very nice Lanchester via that site.

I always like the simple effective styling of these early saloons. Later ones got too plasticky in my opinion.
And no sorry I am not interested - also living in a LHD country (Netherlands).
