Interesting, though I'm at Tatton Park this weekend for two days. I notice that pub has a weekly classics meeting over the summer, on Tuesday evenings.
Loton Park VSCC is the weekend after Cholmondeley though, trying to get to this on one day or the other. |

Tatton wasn't bad, but there was noticeably less stuff there - walkways between the club display stands were much wider in some parts, and they'd easily have fitted a few more club displays given that this show always claims to have a waiting list of people wanting a stand.
The autojumble was OK, but not as big as it was in June. I was reminded that it's often smaller in August, just seemed a little thinner, and more of the stands that put the "Tat" in "Tatton Park", IMO of course. I recall reading that they were trying to increase the number of stands selling stuff that might be interesting for non-car people, to try to give exhibitors guests / partners / kids something to look at, but I was hoping that would be in addition to everything I want, not instead. Weather forecasts for Sunday had some jumblers running for the hills on Saturday night, but it wasn't too bad at all, and dry after lunch. |

The long established National Microcar Rally is in Cheshire this weekend at a friend of a friend's farm over Macclesfield way. I'll be wombling over there on Sunday, see;

The Powerdrive ticked my boxes too, but then so did at least half a dozen others.
One of the two blue Peel P50s is in fact totally new, completed only 2 days before the show, see http://p50cars.com/
As the owner said, one cost £6,500 the other is worth way over £50k... ! |

If I can persuade the wife we shall be attending in the Chummy. If not, one of the box saloons. Despite one not charging and the other really needing a head gasket |

I've had my entries confirmed for the two May shows at Gawsworth Hall - the general classic car show on the first bank holiday, and the "Youngtimer" show on the later one. |
