Thanks Greg, yes I'm very pleased with the outcome, they've done a absolutely fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. You're so right about the smiles, couldn't wipe the silly smile off my face as I drove down the M4 yesterday Smile

Hey Rick that sounds a great idea although with the cost of all those toll roads over in Europe added to the 12 - 15 miles per gallon, I fear it may be a dream too far Sad

Hi Rick

Thank you for the welcome I would say I love all cars I can see beauty in most things its more the bodywork side I look at spent many years polishing cars Smile

Something about classic cars gives you more of a feel good factor then new cars I helped a friend with his 1938 Morris 8 which I enjoyed also a 1976 Toyota GT 2000 etc I don't own a classic yet but always seem to help with others Smile

Regards

Lee

Hi Car-Nut,

Thank you for your kind comments, they're much appreciated. I'll take your advice and keep an eye on the wheels, just wish there was a easier more friendly to my fingers way to keep them nice and shiny.

It's been a long and painful wait, but finally I have the finished article to show. I went to Brooklands today and took some pics I hope you will enjoy.

Thanks Rick, really happy with the outcome although there's one or two bits and pieces that need a bit of tlc, but I'm finding out quickly that where E-Types are concerned, there's always something that needs taking care of Sad

Smile that applies to every old car, it's just that V12 Jaguars are more complicated than most Smile

I had a V12 E-Type's exhaust tail pipe piece - briefly - fitted to my Mk3 Spitfire in the late 1980s. Sounded good but looked odd, didn't stay there for long!
