It's very interesting to following progress on these cars, after all it's not often that there are threads around on these less commonly-encountered classics.

the only update i have is that the Saphire is back on the road where she belongs and looking good with her new coat of paint was running a bit rough with a slight misfire so currently at TreBurley having a service and tune up just need to get new carpets made up and dash revarnished then she will be back in tip top condition

I've just joined the Owner's Club and will soon be taking advantage of their spares service.
I need a new rear spring (only sold in pairs unfortunately), a couple of bushes for the front suspension and a timing chain tensioner (if I can find one).
The rattle from the front of the engine is quite noticeable, so I need to get that sorted sharpish.
Most of my attention has been focussed on the V8 Pilot, as her respray has now gone back to the bare metal, which was not what we had originally planned or budgeted for.....

Unfortunately that means that the other cosmetic work on Sophie (the Star Sapphire) will have to wait.

I've noticed some micro blistering on her boot which doesn't bode well. there are also some rust stains coming through on door bottoms etc so she's going to need the same sort of attention as Amelia.

Do you know of anyone down this way who can do veneer work for door cappings and dash tops? Sophie's are in need of some work to take them back to their original condition.

Richard

I found this website, not sure if it'll be any use, they seem a bit on the dear side to me.
