You cant go wrong with Far Forest and Micky Pound, he goes the extra mile to make you welcome! Such a shame that his neighbours caused him grief, they used to watch his every move especially if a caravan should dare to arrive on site before the alloted time but then you get these 'spoilsports' in all walks of life. Have a good rally season, I still miss it!

hi gang
were back from far forest after a wonderful week away from the daily grind
6 vans braved the winter sun and rain it was a bit muddy underfoot and
it snowed on the first weekend and again on the last we said goodbye in 6 inches of the white stuff and were greeted by green fields 1 mile down the road on the Bewdley bypass
roll on next month as we head further south to Cirencester

hi all
7 Royale caravans braved the wind last weekend to trundle to Cirencester
for a long weekend in the SUN
the weather helped us and a grand weekend was had by all who attended
we now have a month off
and our next rally takes us to south west Scotland and includes a day trip to Belfast to visit the Titanic museum

Hi fluffle-valve
sorry that one was for sale last year and didn't sell and i am using her as my current tourer, the one i am selling at the moment has sold as well
what do you require as i am the contact and recovery person for cherished but no longer required Royales
the only one that was available was south of Swindon but she will need a full restoration
we in the club try to find home's for other peoples cherished caravans
as a lot of these vans have stood around for some time and are in need of new owners to love them

hi all
been laid up with a bad back and i was unable to attend the last Royale outing at Dave Otters fine site near Retford
but as i,m on the mend i am looking forward to the next rally on Anglesey
in September
so far this year the club have had 6 rallies
far forest
Cirencester
the ECCLR
Mossyard Scotland
Wigan
Retford
with Anglesey the ACCEO Towcester agm, and our own agm at Winsford to come a fair season blessed with good weather on the whole so far
we average about 8 vans on a rally, 12 in Scotland and more for the agm
with a black tie and posh frock dinner on the Saturday night
not bad for a club with around 40 members
Evey year we give out a trophy for mileage and i was lucky to win it last year with 2660 miles towed to rallies around the uk
some members who are retired and do a lot of touring here and abroad manage 3 of 4 times that mileage, so it goe'd to show the old vans still have it in them to do sterling service as a main eveyday caravan

hi gang
the sun shone up on the banks of the tyne this weekend and i managed to fabricate a new surround for the kitchen window in our 69 royale
there is a design flaw in that the fiberglass on the rear window surround it only makes contact with the frame around the window so any flexing and the seal is broken and water gets in hence no woodwork left
any way the job is nearly done
the early Royales have a printed wood finish that's not available anymore so i remove a door and photo copy it and use it as wallpaper
