hi fuffle-valve the ACCEO agm was at Towcecter racecourse for the last 3 years on the first weekend in october
next years meet has to move due to the new dog track thats been installed and will be at the county show ground Stafford
its a cracking weekend with entertainment and great crack
about 150+ vans attend and it is open to all clubs who are members of ACCEO thats over 200 clubs and 40,000 members
i have been going as our club rep for over 10 years and have managed to get a small band of fellow members to go to
the 5 day meet including the entertainment cost about £60 so its a cost effective weekend no hook up is offered and you meet some great people
form all over the country
chris
Very Happy

hi all
the food is in, the pork, beef, and turkey are in the freezer chestnut stuffing is made, as is the butter nut squash and mushroom soup both are ready to go and carols donated apples have been converted into sauce.
Christmas pud with brandy sauce for pud along with one of Mavis's fantastic trifles we hope
the Royale family enjoy there grub, and a night out in the village hall for fun and games on new years eve is something to look forward to so look for the report and we will raise a glass to all classic caravaners

And I was there! Another truly memorable Royale Rally. Thanks Chris.
Btw, one of our members took his modern van, as his Royale is under repair, and was not impressed with the lack of insulation, as it was considerably colder than his Royale.

we were on the road this weekend 620 mile round trip down to Banbury for a meeting driving winds and rain didn't move the Royale at all
solo on the M6 through the lune gore on wedensday at 50mph was way to fast for the conditions but the rest of the journey was in fine dry weather

a great weekend in the frost the water pipes froze but we were warm and safe in the van
the nec show was a great weekend
after35 years we are changing the foam is now well past its best new foam ordered we will fit it when I see the caravan next month
we plugged the car to the van in heavy rain and no electrics ran the car up to another van and its the car nothing at the plug so into the barn and out came everything and the plactic's no power to the electronic box I didn't have the hand book with me so we took a line direct to the battery and of we went
when we returned today I found that there wasn't a fuse in the holder ////???? gremlins how had it worked last time out ??
any way I can put it all back together tomorrow fun

Seen on the M6 - a smart TourRanger (I think) behind an even smarter Mk II Transit pick-up. Anyone claim it?
