hers a few pic s of my 1963 country sedan , otherwise known as a galaxie station wagon or a full size ford. I have done a lot of work to this inc a full bare metal re-spray , rebuilt all the power steering including new hoses every where, rebuilt all the braking system, made and fitted new foot-well in front and back (thanks pat 0 changed all the suspension to ride-tech air suspension for a better ride, changed leaf spring bushes and hangers, fitted new rear shocks , changed the dynamo to and Audi 120 amp alternator, fitted new carpets, lined the rear bed with oiled birch. I am fitting a new intake manifold, carb and air filter this week so I can get on with fitting my l.p.g. system .

its ok as the engine is a 289(4.7) which is the same as the pre 65 mustang so engine parts are well covered but most other stuff is only 63-64 model years so its import stuff and pay through the nose . lol. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/anne-mark-photos/ |

Nice car. A friend of mine has a '64 Ford Station Wagon, which hasn't been on the road for along time. It's the base custom model, a Canadian one with right hand drive, a 240 cu in six and a three speed manual. Round here (Worcester) we also have a couple of Mustangs of a similar age and 64 Galaxie Coupe |

good heavens, Penfold! that's a stunner. I am a station wagon junkie myself; I've had several big Fords but never a '63 (so far!). my first was a '65, 352v8 powered, pale yellow with beige interior... I painted "Yellow Submarine" across the rear window spoiler... _________________ nothing is ever so far gone as to be unsalvageable. see this bolt?..... |
