I have this on a video tape I purchased about 15 years ago.

The main people playing parts in the film all worked for Jaguar.

The garage guy taking the visit to the factory was a manager at Browns Lane.

When I was restoring a MK2 about 15 years ago i would put on the tape have a few beers and watch the film sometimes after working on my car...it gave me a lift to complete the very time consuming job I had undertaken. 2,500 hours.

I noticed they skipped the part were you try and fit the rear bumper...very fiddly.
I like the guy in the hat who starts up the engines and listens for any unwanted noises.!!!

The work was very mundane, noisy for most workers, and especially hot for the guy who fitted the valve seats.!!!

Yes, I liked that too. I think he was just checking that it made the correct Jaguar gearbox noise. An important legacy that goes back as far as the SS.

I love films like that...so interesting.
When you see things like this it gives a glimps of some of the resources needed for just ONE make/model of car!
28 minutes well spent I feel Wink

As Art mentions, there is a number of interesting videos around the same link.

Listen to Mundy and Hassan describing the V12 to Raymond Baxter.
