Thanks Dane,

The base was the Peebles (Hydropathic) Hotel and there were four vintage Bugattis in the car park when we set-off but when we returned on the Saturday evening the car park was full and there were more Bugattis than anything else! A bit like visiting the Schlumpf Museum.

Peter,

Was that Alan's Magnette with the Jaguar leaper on the bonnet or did he just put the rad. cap on there for the picture?

Yes, it is Alan's car and you'll notice that my car is missing its leaper in that picture.
