Good evening.
Does anyone have to sell or know the whereabouts of a complete or parts of a exhaust system for a series 2 12/4 (1935). Here's hoping.
Thanks.

Hi

There are a number of firms who will make you an exhaust either from one of their own patterns, or from your rusty pile of bits or from a diagram.

CES one of the big UK suppliers have patterns for most classics, they will deliver nationally, not sure where you are based? JP exhausts in Maclesfield will make up from a pattern, Earlpart list the cars they have patterns for on their website.... if you Google I'm sure you will find a local supplier.

All good advice, but splash out on a Stainless system, that will last for some considerable time, and alters the exhaust note as well.
Anybody know why the noise from a stainless system, and a similar mild steel system is different?

Thanks guys.
I am based close to Chester. Already tried CES to no avail. Will try other sugestions though. Unfortunately don't have a pattern just a pile of bits of tube poorly welded together.
Thanks again.

I always make my own for the cars in my fleet that are so old that exhausts are not available.

I look for exhaust pipes that are of the correct diameter and find a modern exhaust box suitable for a car of the same engine capacity. after some cutting and faffing about the jobs done.
It helps to find an exhaust stockist that will let you look through his stock.

Regards Kels.

The Austin Ten Drivers Club (ATDC) will supply that off the shelf I am sure; you would have to join the club though..
Bob Glenister of Available Austins near Coventry would also have it, probably a bit steep price but quality and it would fit.
