I just wondered if there were any Renault 4CV fans out there.

I have been offered a French owned left hand drive model, dated from the mid 1950`s.

A very rust free model.
I have been all over it and found no corrosion at all, just a few dents on the rear wing.
Been garaged for a number of years. All complete.
I was told the engine needs some work but the owner has the required parts to fix it.


I may bring it back to the UK if anyone is interested in it.

Try putting a notice on Clementine's Renault 4 Garage. This is primarily for the later R4, but there is a lot of interest here for the 4CV as well, tempered obviously by its comparative rarity this side of the Channel. Its a good read as well and it is associated with a Welding and car restoration site which has some excellent tech in it.
