I find this time of year a bit depressing what with the short days and cold wet and windy weather. To cheer myself up I've been going back through my pictures from the car events I attended in 2013 and I thought perhaps other folks also might like to look back at the longer and sunnier days of a few months ago.

I'll post a small selection of pictures from each event and will try to keep them in chronological order. I'll try and post pictures from a different ever few days but if anyone else has pictures from any of the events perhaps you might like to add them. Similarly if anyone has pictures from other Norfolk / Suffolk events from 2013 please feel free to add to this thread.

North Norfolk Classic Vehicle Club St Georges Day Run (also a Drive It Day event) from Sheringham to Hoveton Hall Gardens. Very varied selection of cars on a particularly bright and sunny spring day.

The May Bank Holiday saw the Broadland MG Owners Club charity run from Caister-on-Sea to Somerleyton Hall. A big turn out of cars again enjoyed good weather. Obviously lots of MG's on the road but a nice variety of other types too.

The HSCC race meeting at Snetterton on 1st June brought together a selection of classic sports cars - mainly from the 60's & 70's - and historic single seat racers from the 50's through to the 70's. A bit of a chilly day but great racing.

The air show at Old Buckenham Airfield has been a popular event for many years and has a quite large classic vehicle display. Unfortunately, for the second year running, the event suffered from rather poor weather with rain and high winds on the main display day (Sunday). In spite of this most of the flying display went ahead and there were some interesting vehicles on show too.

This is one of my favourite events. Massive variety of classic vehicles with participants getting a free pass on the railway and the vintage buss service that runs between Holt and Sheringham.

Thanks for the pics, you missed Gracie and Nyala at Holt you will have to come and say hello so that we can put a face to you, should be at old buck again this year and waiting for the poppy line to update their website for this years forms, the gentleman with the fiat also has the roller estate and was in practical classics this month with them both

If I spot you at any of the coming events I'll I try and say hello. My car is black Triumph TR4A with an infestation of bears living in the back of it ! Alternatively I might be in a Green TR6 with Snoopy as co-driver. (I know - I need therapy)

Thats us, we had the caravan at holt as we had been away for a few days but we were glad we did as it gave us a place to sit in the shade, if you see two hairy german shepherds as well it will be us, we will look out for the bears and snoopy, we always have a "bloom" ty beanie in ours, maybe this is a new topic what cuddly does your car have

Another really nice local show which seems to grow in popularity each year. Run by the Hoveton & Wroxhan Sea Scouts there is always a very varied selection of vehicles with the cars being parked in groups (more or less) by decade of manufacture. The pictures below are a random selection so not by decade.
