I've got a Rickman that has a Pinto engine in it number MJ 84528.
Burton's say this is a Sep 1991 engine. It was I believe in a transit van (I didn't know some had petrol engines).
How can I find out whether this is a low compression petrol van engine?
Thanks - I used to know about the ohv but unsure on pintos.

Could it be a Sierra engine then. I don't know - I just looked here.

I had a 1979 Escort II but since then I haven't kept up with Ford engines and models.
