I find it sad that apparently reputable auctioneers stoop to creating some fictitious identity for some of their cars. The Wentworth Special, as they call it, is just an 1980s backyard special built on a destroyed 1926 Wentworth saloon. Giving it the prefix the implies some sort of historical significance which just doesn't exist; and whilst I'm in angry mode, why do they spend half the description extolling the virtues of the twin-cam Nine which has nothing to do with this car, other than being its replacement?
