Numerous places are advertising ceramic torpedo fuses but having recently bought some they turn out to be plastic. The way to tell the difference is to try to cut them with a sharp knife, a ceramic fuse will blunt the knife whereas it's possible to cut slivers off a plastic fuse.

Does anyone have a source for ceramic fuses?

I suspect that the only genuine ceramic ones these days will be old stock as they must cost much more to manufacture than the plastic ones.
