He sold his original Penny F a few years ago, as far as I know he still has the modern one but whether it goes out much I don't know.
The owner of the PF above owns a collection on display in a Knutsford tea room. I had to help him clamber back on board his machine after stopping for the canal, that was interesting to say the least, holding the handlebars while he climbed up from the rear.

Nice photos Rick, some motivation for me as I am presently doing up a couple of Phillips bikes a 30s one and a 40s one both very similar in design.
Have been idle these last couple of weeks though!! |
