Then this neat Peugeot 403 pickup, may just be the solution!!! Smile

The condition is less-than-sparkling, but the low opening bid makes it viable and better front wings should turn up in France, if these are beyond recall.

Don't assume you'll be able to buy it for the starting price.

This vendor has had quite a few desirable early French commercials, which have reached what I thought were reasonable prices, but they didn't meet their reserves. As far as I am aware, he hasn't sold any of his vehicles yet!

At least it doesn't have a reserve, so assuming there's no funny business with the bidding then it should all be fairly (!) transparent, bidding-wise.

Rick, none of his listings have indicated there's a reserve until the first bid, which is then shown as Reserve not met.

edit: I see his descriptions now say there is no reserve except for the figure that the auction starts, so forget my comments!
